Joanna first came to Kaua’i in 1967. She made the Garden Isle her permanent home in 1991. Joanna studied watercolor painting at the University of California, Santa Crus, and design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco. From

The inspiration for these tea shells come from the spiral forms found in nature. Each porcelain cup is carefully crafted with the purpose of giving enjoyment to the art of drinking tea.
